Servicing Carrier Standards

Summary of servicing carrier standards in effect for Indiana.

Approved Standards
Indiana has used the 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2002, 2002-revised (effective in Indiana 1/1/2007), 2009, and 2012-revised Servicing Carrier Standards.
 
The ICRB Governing Board approved the 1999 standards in December 1998 and with an effective date of January 1, 1999. The Board approved the 2000 standards in a mail vote in July 1999 and the DOI approved the standards on August 2, 1999. The 2000 standards remained in effect for the year 2001 except some new standards for just coal mine risks. The 2002 standards were effective May 15, 2002 from item filing RM-01-IN-02. The 2002-revised standards were effective January 1, 2007 from item filing RM-02-IN-2006. The Board approved the 2009 standards in the Board meeting held March 11, 2008 and the DOI approved the standards on April 21, 2008.

Reporting Specifications

All servicing carriers must segregate and report actuarial and financial data in accordance with the Servicing Carrier Reference Guide and in accordance with the Indiana Workers Compensation Assigned Risk Servicing Carrier Reporting Specifications Manual.
